Ready to teach Lord

Now this is more like it, I like this look. Andrew and Tyler keep us going to church, their testimonies and faith keep everyone in the house strong. Andrew blesses the food for most of our meals and reminds us to say our bed time prayers. Tyler reminds us each week that we need to go to church, it's great to have kids that care so much about the gospel and keep their parents in check.

Crazy Hair Day

Andrew's last day to wear Crazy Hair, he's getting it all cut off this weekend, back to the missionary cut... I like it much better that way.

Happy New Year !!

Happy New Year!!! I can't believe it's 2009!!!
We had a great night with the Welsh's, John and Annette, Ken's brother and sister-in-law, they had us over for fondue. It was great, we ate all night, played games and lit fireworks at midnight. The 3 big kids, Andrew, Nathan and Natalie thought it was lots of fun staying up until 1:00 in the morning. We slept over and ate belgian waffles and bacon for breakfast, they fed us very well, we may go stay with them again if they keep it up. lol.
The New Year brings New Year's resolutions. This is the time to decide what you want to change or make better or set goals for the year. I think this is an important time for anyone, you should set realistic goals and work toward them. It's always best to be working toward something than to just be just working... The only way to reach what you want is to know what you're reaching for. With that said, I need to work on my 2009 goals and get busy.

Christmas is over, there are toys and boxes and treats all over the house. All of the kids had a good Holiday, Dani got a tea party saucer, the boys got an xbox 360 with rock band, Andrew got a Hampster, he calls him Gizmo, JD got perfect pull up and Tyler got snowboarding passes to Snowbird. I made Ash a quilt and Josh got some games and body wash. Santa treated all of us good, Dad and I got a video camera, we now have our first Christmas all together on film or on disc I'm not sure what the correct way to say it is. They day was a sucess, Grandparents visited, Dad made breakfast, the hampster ran around in the kitchen and we were knee deep in wrapping paper. Yesterday we went sleigh riding with Andrw and Dani, the big boys left for South Carolina to see their mom and Ash and Josh were out shopping with their gift cards and money. Now we move into the New Year, what do we have in store for 2009?

Grandma Bonne's Christmas Eve Party

the Grandkids... at Grandma Bonne's 2008 Christmas Party. We had good food, Ham and Turkey, funeral potatoes and salad. We exchanged and opened gifts. The kids put on a little program with stories and songs, Andrew said out family prayer. All of the kids were so excited for Santa to come that night.

Saturday morning

Once again we make it to Saturday. I can lay in bed and play on the computer, for a few minutes anyway. I don't have to run around and get everyone ready to go to work or school. What a great day!! Soon it will be time to get up and make a big breakfast, bacon, eggs and pancakes. Dad is going to work on building shelves in the shed, mom will chase kids around and try to organize boxes to put back in the shed. Andrew will go play with his friends, he's already begging me to go, it started at 8:00 am, he has new friends that he loves to play with. JD has gone off to work, stocking shelves at Maceys, he seems to really love that job and doing well at it. Tyler will probably sleep in until noon or so, I'm sure he was out late last night with his friends, he went to the football game last night, but I think Alta kicked Skylines butt. I just fed Dani a bottle, she's getting big, 3 months last week, shes really starting to laugh and almost ready to roll over. Ashley and Josh are making their way through life, the newly weds are going to school, working and enjoying life. Well, time to get started with the day, time to go make breakfast!!
